It's the most magical night of the year—an evening of dancing, romancing, and sneaking slugs of your dad's cinnamon schnapps in the janitor's closet. Yes, the pinnacle of your high school years: Prom Night, when awkward teens are magically transformed into... awkward teens wearing ill-fitting formalwear. And you're cordially invited to relive this zenith of your teenage glory days with Scoutmob, all beneath a magnificent glittering disco ball. Moonlight Rendezvous is our passport back to that golden, magical Prom Night of yore, complete with live prom jams, corsages and boutonnieres, a [drag] king and queen, a photobooth in which to preserve these memories forever, and a sea of hairstyles so shellacked into submission you could crunch those curling-ironed tendrils like twigs. Oh, and this time you don't have to rely on whatever bottom-shelf hooch you could manage to smuggle out of the parental liquor cabinet: we've got that covered. Each ticket gets you two drink tickets at the bar, where spiked punch and Terrapin beer will be served up to fuel your seductive Boyz II Men dance moves (and this time, your algebra teacher won't be around to intervene). But this little Rendezvous isn't just a chance to waltz the night away in your finest mustard-hued polyester tux/lavender satin gown. Each ticket sold will support Living Walls, an Atlanta nonprofit organization that brings together street artists, academics and the public at large to activate and engage communities. This August, Living Walls will host the first all-female street art conference in the world, with 28 artists from around the world alighting upon the red brick and grey concrete of Atlanta to work their artistic wizardry. Which means you can support a noble cause and pin a boutonniere on your crush, all in one enchanted evening. And without fear of getting your braces stuck together.
