No Cameras: The Clermont Lounge Book Launch Party at The Living Room on Thursday, February 20th from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00pm
Join Scoutmob, Author Dana Hazels Seith, The Atlanta Film Festival and Atlanta icon Blondie at The Living Room Lounge at The W Atlanta Midtown for a special "Locals We Love" event celebrating the release of "No Cameras: The Clermont Lounge" – and walk away with a signed collector's edition.
Finally ready to tell the story, Clermont Lounge Owners, Tracey Brown and Kathi Martin, commissioned writer, Dana Hazels Seith, photographer, Artem Nazarov, and designer, Ryan Wood, to capture the essence of Atlanta’s longest running strip club: The (infamous) Clermont Lounge. Open since 1965, this unchanged spot is slice of history recognized as one of the best dive bars in the country. Nazarov and Seith were granted an all-access pass to document and photograph the infamous club that both locals and celebrities love.
The result of their efforts, No Cameras: The Clermont Lounge, is an artfully produced book of honest images and stories that shape the place. It includes commentary from comedienne Margaret Cho, celebrity chef and author, Anthony Bourdain, dancers, bartenders, customers, and of course, Blondie showcasing her legendary, ahem – assets. In life, a sure thing is hard to come by, but you can bet a night at the Clermont Lounge is one you’ll never forget.
